In many Specific Vehicle Approval installations it can be installed on the lower ISOFIX anchorage points without the need for a top tether or support leg ~ providing the most convenient ISOFIX solution.

However, in some cars a top tether MUST be used so it is important to check the application list before use.

The seat can be safely fitted in many cars WITHOUT Isofix fittings, using a lap and diagonal seat belt.
